Ryan Ruskin currently serves as vice chair of the Alumni Council. He has also served on the Committee to Nominate Alumni Trustees; as past chair of the Committee on Awards for Service to Princeton; as a member of the Portraiture Nominations Committee; and as past president of the Princeton Club of Chicago. Ruskin is currently the president and CEO of The Ruskin Group, a fourth-generation global sustainable packaging company. In 2015, he assumed the role of non-executive chairman of MyEco, a sustainability education business he helped found that uses technology and innovative products to help consumers break disposable habits. In 2002, he co-founded the Chicago Gay Hockey Association. At Princeton, Ryan was in Triangle and on the sailing team. He lives in Chicago with his husband, Mike, and their two dogs.
