Over the course of his more than 30 year career, James Blue has won every major broadcast journalism award, including three Peabody, three DuPont and 10 national news Emmy Awards. He currently runs Storyboard Studios, a New York-based production company that produces programming for “Jay Z’s Roc Nation,” “Frontline,” “PBS NewsHour,” PBS and the BBC, among many clients. He was most recently head of Smithsonian Channel and senior vice president of MTV News and Docs for Paramount Global. Blue has a long and successful track record producing award-winning programs as a senior executive at “PBS NewsHour” and is a member of the Television Academy.
