Ixtle Montuffar is an undergraduate student in their second year hoping to enter the ecology and evolutionary biology department. They are from Maryland and their family is from México. Montuffar has been a student leader for both the Natives at Princeton (NAP) student group and the Princeton Latin American Student Association (PLASA) and ran the Queer Natives subgroup of NAP. They hope to work in Indigenous ethnobotany and plant conservation, particularly with the rural communities where their family is from.
