Heather Rae Martin has a wealth of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, including roles at Syneos Health, Mylan (now Viatris), Mallinckrodt, Pfizer and Amgen. They returned to New Jersey in February 2018 to live for the first time since graduating from Princeton and begin a career in life sciences management consulting. Martin has served on the board of Queer Princeton Alumni (formerly FFR/BTGALA) since 2018, been its liaison to ASC/PSC and is currently secretary. They have prior nonprofit board experience as a part of Reaching Out MBA’s national board, serving on the strategic impact committee, and now sits on the advisory council. Reaching Out MBA focuses on educating, inspiring and connecting the student and alumni LGBTQ MBA and graduate communities in an effort to create the next generation of out business leaders. Martin also has an MBA from Tepper School of Business and a Master of Science in Health Care Policy & Management from Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College. At Princeton, they were involved in Expressions Dance Company and the Black Arts Company (BAC), both dance and drama groups. Martin remains committed to continued advancement of visual and performing arts — now more as a patron than a performer. In rare spare moments, they enjoy music festivals, intimate concerts, supporting local artists and deejaying hip-hop, trap and rap music. Just living life every day and showing up in corporate America continues to surprise everyone, including Martin!
