Haley Choueiri is the president of the Princeton Pride Alliance, a member of the Princeton Psychology Society and a mentor for the Scholars Institute Fellows Program, which provides mentorship, programming and support to first-generation and lower-income students at Princeton. She also interns at the Gender + Sexuality Resource Center, where she supports programming for students to learn and engage with their peers. In her independent research as a junior and rising senior, she is interested in exploring the complicated dynamics of allyship and combining academia with up-to-date discourse that happens within social justice movements. Choueiri enjoys reading, watching cheesy rom-coms and knitting. She also enjoys traveling with her partner and supporting local businesses everywhere she goes. Originally from North Carolina and Virginia, she has mostly traveled to locations on the East Coast but is excited to see where her travels take her!
