Neurologist, Adventurer, Poet
Dawn McGuire is a neurologist and poet. Her books include the award-winning collections “The Aphasia Cafe” and “American Dream with Exit Wound.” She has been accused of writing “poems that treat larger themes with lyric intensity.” She was raised in Appalachian Eastern Kentucky and lives in Northern California.
