Bold, Curious, Ready
Crista Samaras is a social impact entrepreneur. She grew her first company, Bounce Entertainment, to include 1,500 girls nationwide who wanted to be competitive lacrosse players and potent leaders. She sold Bounce to two Princeton graduates in 2014. In 2016, she founded Brave Enterprises with a hunch that bravery training might be an effective lever to increase confidence. For the last eight years, Brave has studied fear in order to activate courage in people. Brave has worked with over 20,000 people in more than 450 sessions nationwide. Currently, she consults with companies to build proprietary programming tailored to their unique audiences using a combination of psychological science and design thinking. She is an expert facilitator and compelling speaker. Samaras was a three-time All-American and two-time Ivy League Player of the Year in lacrosse and played on the U.S. national team, winning World Cup gold and silver medals. In 2022, she was the inaugural recipient of the Legacy Award from USA Lacrosse, the sport’s national governing body. She lives in New York City with her wife and two kids.
