Administrator, Husband, Advocate
Chad Klaus leads critical University administrative functions that provide daily services — ranging from mail delivery and parking to housing and dining functions — to Princeton students, faculty and staff. Klaus came to Princeton in 2000 as director of customer service and quality improvement in University Facilities and was named assistant vice president for University Services in 2008 and vice president in 2012.
In his early years at Princeton, Klaus served as co-chair of the LGBT Task Force and was a strong advocate for the creation of the first LGBT Center. Today, he remains an active member of the University Student Life Committee and recently became the executive sponsor of Princeton’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender employee resource group. Klaus lives in Skillman, New Jersey, with his husband.
