Carla Berube was named the head coach of women’s basketball at Princeton University in May 2019 after spending 17 years at Tufts University. During her five years and four seasons at Princeton, Berube has amassed a 100-17 record, with four Ivy League titles and three Ivy League Tournament championships. She has coached four Ivy League Players of the Year, three All Americans and two first-round WNBA draft picks. Berube was the 2015 Pat Summitt Trophy winner as the Division III National Coach of the Year and a three-time regional coach of the year at Tufts. She has also coached internationally with USA Basketball, leading the Under-16 national team to a gold medal at the FIBA Americas and the Under-17 national team to a gold medal at the World Championships. The highlight of her playing career was winning the 1995 NCAA championship, capping a perfect 35-0 season for the University of Connecticut. Berube and her wife, Meghan, are the parents of two sons, Parker and Caden, along with a daughter, Brogan.
