Samuel Dorison is a national expert in artificial intelligence strategy and product deployment, with demonstrated results in sensitive environments such as mental health. He is the co-founder and CEO at ReflexAI, a technology company that brings artificial intelligence powered tools to emergency dispatch, crisis response and healthcare organizations. ReflexAI’s tools improve quality and reduce cost in the critical functions of training and quality assurance. Since launching in 2022, ReflexAI has worked with a wide range of organizations, from large-scale partners (including Google and the Department of Veterans Affairs) to smaller organizations (including local crisis lines). Fast Company recognized ReflexAI tools as their “2024 World Changing Idea” in its AI and data category. Before launching ReflexAI, Dorison served as chief strategy and innovation officer at the Trevor Project, where his team’s work was recognized on Time magazine’s “100 Best Inventions of 2021.” He also co-authored five peer-reviewed papers on mental health. Dorison previously worked at McKinsey & Company in Washington, D.C., and at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. Beyond ReflexAI, Dorison is heavily involved in causes that support families impacted by cancer. He serves on the board of Kesem and is a long-time rider of the Pan-Mass Challenge. He lives in New York City with his husband.
